Details: STHAPATYA is a National Level Technical Symposium which is either a 2 days festival which is aimed to engage and stimulate an interest in the relationship between science and technology (contemporary arts). This technical rendezvous offers the students an insight into diverse fields in civil engineering and encourages them to unveil their inherent aptitude & appetite for practical problems. The interaction that prevails between the students of various colleges at the fest is a unique characteristic which helps them to develop their technical skills.

STHAPATYA’10 is a platform for future civil engineers to expand their horizon. The idea is to encourage students from all over the country to make technical paper presentations and initiate interaction with eminent professionals of the industry. Current trends and future visions for the industry will be discussed. We hope to give the students a feel of real industrial world.

About the Aeromdelling workshop :

His every paper plane is his jumbo jet… So if it is still in you, the simple desire to fly, come and chip in MIT’s very own AEROMODELLING WORKSHOP. Here is a chance to lend wings, to your dreams.

Reinfo is the annual Civil Engineering festival of Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore.


Impossible!! This is one word that engineers believe does not exist!!! REINFO is for those engineers who do not believe in DOOM… Who never believe that the world ends at 2012 or at any other time in future. Who have the will and wish to compete. Sustainability is the key word for our generation. We are born to survive. Not to believe that we are going to end. Moon was the sole source of light after sunset, but the rational man who believed that light is possible invented light in the form of a lamp and in the form of a bulb!!!, claimed to be the most astounding invention of mankind. Some men believed, those rational, never say impossible men were called engineers. Details: Aakaar is not a conventional fest. Aakaar, the way we envision it, is a forum. Aakaar is your Soap box where you can speak your mind and be heard. Where your ideas would find ears. Where your theories would find plausibility, your machines the fire test and you the torchlight out of the darkness of indifference and oblivion. Semantics aside, Aakaar stands for these very formless ideas, and strives to be a platform where you can build solid foundations for the same. And chisel them to life.

We, at the Civil Engineering Association(CEA), the student association of IIT Bombay, have endeavoured to break out of the mould and do something different here. Ensuring that things would go off impeccably would be a target. We hope to stay true to the vision behind this effort of ours - celebrating our to-be profession, its spirit and imbibing its message..
