With innovation as inspiration and technical knowledge as a tool, ITM aims at bringing a transformation to the very grassroots of this region with the hidden theme of KRONOS 10 being “Striving For Excellence”. KRONOS is a celebration of that fusion where the beauty of the form is coalesced with inspiring ingenious innovations of young mettle. Welcome to the Computer Vision Conferences and Special Issues deadlines summary page. Events are listed in order of deadline, starting roughly a few days ago (or more accurately a few days before the last update) going to about 3 months into the future. Therefore if it is too late for paper submission, or too early to worry about it, the deadline is not listed. Not all organizers notify me of changes, so some deadline updates fail to make this list.
This initial example is for CVPR, but you can use the browse link (at the bottom) to add others, or use the links in the list here for a meeting with an upcoming deadline. This allows you to be in a group for the conference without needing creating a group. The page includes 1 week deadlines and recent updates (e.g. Extensions, also included in the Profile box). If you have a conference interest indicated, you will receive a Facebook notification of the approaching deadline and notifications of any updates to the meeting information.

Good News To all final year engineering students

All India Engineering Project Innovation Contest (AIEPIC, pronounced as eye-pic) aims to identify, promote and reward outstanding engineering talent across India. The contest is open to all final year undergraduate engineering students and MCA students. This contest is expected to bring together more than six lakh students from 3000+ colleges across India to showcase their projects. This is the only event of its kind being organized for the first time in India. The contest provides a level-playing field for every budding engineer to display his/her technical brilliance.

If you are an eligible candidate for the contest, register yourself, invite your team members, and post a summary of the project you intend to execute. You need to constantly update the progress of your project every 15 days. You can also vote/ comment on projects of other students and network with industry experts for guidance.

Through a rigorous and challenging selection process, a distinguished panel of judges comprising of scientists and industry leaders will select 500 finalists (equally from each branch) from a nationwide pool of thousands, to attend the final round in Bangalore during April 2010. There will also be several awards and incentives for the finalists and their colleges. For details check the Awards page.

If you are a working professional, this is a great opportunity to help the institution where you graduated from by guiding the students and help India to move ahead in technology sector. To know more, please visit the Mentor section. You can also propose project ideas in the Project Bank section.
