Details: Aakaar is not a conventional fest. Aakaar, the way we envision it, is a forum. Aakaar is your Soap box where you can speak your mind and be heard. Where your ideas would find ears. Where your theories would find plausibility, your machines the fire test and you the torchlight out of the darkness of indifference and oblivion. Semantics aside, Aakaar stands for these very formless ideas, and strives to be a platform where you can build solid foundations for the same. And chisel them to life.
We, at the Civil Engineering Association(CEA), the student association of IIT Bombay, have endeavoured to break out of the mould and do something different here. Ensuring that things would go off impeccably would be a target. We hope to stay true to the vision behind this effort of ours - celebrating our to-be profession, its spirit and imbibing its message..
