Details: After the success of Twaran 09 ABV Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior we bring forth another piece of exuberance-TWARAN 2010. Twaran is one of the premier inter college sports fest in India that calls for the participation of students in its plethora of sporting events. Previously this was an inter IIIT sports fest but this time we go a step further and we are including most of the prestigious all India level institutes. Twaran 2010 offers a platform for students from all over India to showcase their talent and compete with the best upcoming sport persons in the country in a highly charged and competitive ambience with highly equipped sports facilities. Since sportsmanship is always a symbol of friendship and unity so the main motive of organizing such an event on such a large scale is to increase the mutual understandings and to increase the co-operation level between the various institutes. Games and sports are not only correlated with physical fitness but also require your mind to plan the right strategic moves. Sports have always been associated with the words of glory and pride. The great energy level brings this event a lot more excitement not only to the players but to the audience who saw their endeavor. A majority of the games are held under floodlights including basketball, volleyball, badminton and kabaddi. Several others, such as cricket, football take place on the lush green fields during the day. We are also offering marathon, chess and carom as informal events.
