The Annual Technical Festival of Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, Horizon is being conducted from the last 7 years. The State- level festival has scaled great heights and dimensions ever since the college was born on August 2000 of philanthropic visions of a group of Durgapur based entrepreneurs dedicated to the memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the architect of modern West Bengal. An AICTE approved institution, BCREC is the only institute in West Bengal selected for the INDO-US Universities EDUSAT program.
We, as Team Horizon 2010 thank you all for your support and participation in the Festival, which kept our spirits alive and the festive mood on a high. We extend our gratitude to Dr B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur and to our sponsors without whom, Horizon 2010-A National Level Technical Festival,would be impossible.
Ofcourse, as the baton is passed to Horizon 2011, we promise you a bigger and a better version of our dear Science and Technology Festival next year, carrying on with the legacy of 7 years handed over to it.
