Details: It is grander, it is bigger, and it is here… TRYST, the Annual Technical Festival of Indian Institute of is being organized from 12-14 March, 2010. The festival is open for all college students. Tryst 2010 has taken a tremendous leap from all its previous versions and is sure to be offering something truly spectacular.
Classifying events under ‘Think’ ‘Create’ ‘Indulge’ and ‘discover’ the organizers seem to be comprehensively covering all aspects of technology. In Discover, there are events like panel discussions and the much talked about CSIR recognized Paper Presentations, which is offering students a platform to showcase their research work. An array of workshops are also being organized, the response for which has been so overwhelming that registration had to be closed within hours... Lectures by eminent personalities like the team of Chandrayaan Mission, Rahul Pandit, etc. would be the highlights of the fest.
In ‘Think’ the mental faculties of students are challenged with various problems. In Events ranging from Chemical Case Study, Biotech B Plan, Estorica- the Science Quiz to Code Wars, diverse areas of engineering are covered. With an eye on the future, the event ‘Ideas For Success’ challenges the youth to come up with ideas that can help solve the problems that besiege Delhi. ‘Create’ seeks to ignite the fire of creative thinking among individuals. Covering robotics in its entirety, there are events like RoboWars and Move On. The ever favorite Junkyard Wars would be matched in its popularity by AXLR8R: a competition in which participants design cars that race with one another.
To cap it all throughout the duration of Tryst the gaming competition ‘Godlike’ shall seek to enthrall all. Not to forget, there will be cultural performances every night once the events of the day are over.
So what are you waiting for, this is everyone’s chance to Think, Create, Indulge and Discover.
